TEDxNTU conference to be held on March 17th 2012 (Saturday) @ Nanyang Technological University's Lee Kong Chian Lecture theater from 10.30 am to 5.00 pm. The theme of this TEDxNTU event is "The Pursuit of Happiness”. The speakers shall be exceptionally talented, innovative, creative and accomplished. TEDxNTU intends to encourage the young population of NTU (Nanyang Technological University) and Singapore to see beyond academics dream bigger, aim higher and come up with better ideas. TEDxNTU will serve as a platform, which brings up innovative & creative thinkers on to the NTU community, Their talks shall encourage the NTU community to unleash their creativity and boldly come up with bigger and better ideas.
This TEDxNTU event will be exploring one of the most elusive and fuzzy mental states commonly known as ‘Happiness’. Entitled ‘Pursuit of Happiness’, the event shall feature speakers from diverse backgrounds with unique, exotic experiences. Together, they will paint a Scientific, Social and Psychological picture of ‘Happiness’ and it’s ‘Pursuit’ by drawing forth inspiration from their lives, experience & research.
